Coffee Morning
6 Dale Close garden was a buzz most of the morning of 5th June 2021, as pickers came and went and others joined us for coffee and biscuits. It was a joy to chat with friends, some of whom we have not seen for a long while.
Photos in the Snow Competition – 2021
It was such fun watching some of our younger and not so young members having fun in the snow, lifting our spirits. We are pleased to announce that the prize for the best ‘Snowy Photo’ goes to Caroline Shelvey for the picture of her Snowman. John Stobbs’ dog walker was runner up and Annie Wooton’s treescape came third.
Summer in Dale Close
You always know that summer is nearly with us when Ruth and Ian Green invite neighbours and friends to view their magnificent wisteria!
Summer Party 2017
On Sat. 10th of June we have held our Summer Party.
Several SENDRA members joined in what was a pleasurable evening with lots of nibbles, cakes and wine.
2016 Summer Party
SENDRA held its summer party on Saturday June 25th in the middle of our estate, in Sadler Walk (OX1). Because of rainy outbursts, we kept off the wet grass and sheltered – convivially – under 3 gazebos. We celebrated the Queen’s 90th birthday alongside Shakespeare’s 400th. Some 50 residents attended, as well as one our City Councillors, leader Bob Price. After a few Shakespearean phrases we had the loyal toast, each of us with a glass of specially purchased prosecco. It was a happy, sociable event.
